Pixera
Viewfinder Pro (Windows)
The Pixera Viewfinder Pro application provides complete,
through-the-lens live viewing capability with highly sophisticated
controls for adjusting color balance (automatically or manually), various
filters, and other image parameters on the live image. Interactive
tools are also provided for flipping, cropping, and indicating how well
the image is focused. The Viewfinder may be adjusted in size from
fast frame rate 160x120 pixel resolution to full VGA 640x480 resolution.
Images may be captured at a variety of resolutions up to 1260x960 pixel
high definition quality. Advanced imaging features include multiple
frame averaging and dynamic histogram functions such as equalization,
contrast expansion, and level adjustment. The Viewfinder Pro
application is optimized for scientific analysis applications such as
brightfield and dark-field fluorescence microscopy. Advanced image
processing algorithms also provide dynamic image processing operations
resulting in maximum image capture quality

Pixera
Studio Pro (Windows)
The Pixera Studio Pro application provides sophisticated image
manipulation and analysis tools required for many scientific and
industrial applications for images captured directly from Viewfinder Pro
or retrieved from Album. Still images may be zoomed, panned,
cropped, printed, and drawn upon. A variety of image filters are
available for interactively specifying filter parameters using a preview
dialog, and also for adjusting color values using slider controls. Images may be sent directly through e-mail at the touch of a button.
Tools including line, angle, and perimeter trace measurement functions
allow for the calculation of distances within images.
The centroid
function displays the center of gravity of a specified area. The
histogram tool graphically displays the contrast distribution of any
image.

Pixera
Motion (Windows)
The Pixera Motion application allows low to medium resolution
sequences to be recorded from the Pixera camera and stored in AVI format.
Audio may be recorded together with the video, and timelapse, stop motion,

Pixera
Album (Windows)
The Pixera Album application provides a means for archiving files
captured directly from Viewfinder Pro, processed in Studio Pro, or
recorded in Motion.
A multi-level hierarchy may be created for storing and
retrieving images by category and displayed in thumbnail image
representation. A Windows database file is created which stores a
variety of information about each Album image or motion sequence as well
as specific file locations. A Query function allows images to be
retrieved based on keyword combinations or properties.
