Identification via the Device Manager
Only owners of 120es/Professional/PVC-100C/PVC-100 and Personal running Windows.
1. You can perform this check while staying online with this web page.
2.
Click the
Start
button at the lower left corner on your desktop. Go to
Settings
and select
Control Panels
.
3. In the Control Panels dialog box, open
System
and select
Device Manager
or
Devices
(The path and terminology could differ depending on which Windows operating system you are using)
4. We will ask you to look for Cirrus Logic identification in the device manager (or devices), in 2 simple steps. If the information doesn't exist, it's a PCI Pixchip card.
Step1: In the list of devices, look for a folder named
PCMCIA Socket
. If the folder exist, open the folder and confirm the following file:
Cirrus Logic PCIC Compatible PCI to PCMCIA bridge
.
You are using a PCI Cirrus Logic card, if the file exist, and you don't have to perform Step 2.
Step 2: In the list of devices, look for a folder named
Other Devices
. If the folder exist, open the folder and confirm the following file:
Cirrus Logic PCIC Compatible PCI to PCMCIA bridge
.
You are using a PCI Cirrus Logic card, if the file exist.
